💭情境：此劇在談一名現代法國男子「亞森迪歐(Assane Diop)」，是如何再現小說裡偵探亞森羅蘋的智慧，為父親伸冤復仇。在這一幕中，「亞森迪歐」在父親留下的信裡面發現了兩個錯字，這是一向注重用字正確性的父親向來不可能犯下的錯誤。因此，他將這兩個錯字結合起來變成一個可能的搜尋線索，但卻被他的朋友「班傑明法雷(Benjamin Ferel)」認為是無稽之舉，覺得「亞森迪歐」根本是在鑽牛角尖，因為，這兩個錯字與他推論的線索關聯性很是牽強。
Benjamin Ferel: That’s called a, um… coincidence.
班傑明法雷：這叫做巧合。
Assane Diop: Are you serious?
亞森迪歐：你是認真的嗎？
Benjamin Ferel: What? Two spelling mistakes and there’s a hidden message? Come on, you’re reaching.
班傑明法雷：什麼鬼？用兩個錯字傳遞隱藏的訊息？少來了，你是在鑽牛角尖。
Assane Diop: You don’t understand.
亞森迪歐：你不明白。
由此可知，「You are reaching」這句話的意思可不是在說你正在到達喔，而是意指他人「想太多了，在鑽牛角尖」。
這個說法是比較道地的生活英語，不完全是俚語，可以說比較偏向慣用語，但並非是正式用法。
這句話用英語來解釋的話：
Someone is trying to make a connection between two ideas but it’s difficult to actually connect the two things. So “you are reaching” means that the speaker believes there is no real connection between the two ideas.
(某人試著將兩個想法做連結，但實際上這兩件事情根本就擦不太上邊，這時候說「You are reaching」意思就是講這句話的人並不相信這兩個想法有任何實際的關聯)
Imagine that you tell your friend an unreal or unbelievable or crazy thinking/idea, Then your friend said: You are reaching.
(想像你正在跟你的朋友分享一個不切實際、難以致信或是瘋狂的想法、點子，然後你的朋友回你說：You are reaching→你想太多了/你只是在鑽牛角尖。)
講難聽點就是Bullshit (胡扯)。
